Patricia M. Brown 73, of
Rome passed away peacefully on
November 6, 2025, at the Wynn
Hospital in Utica. She was born on
February 26, 1952, in Boonville,
N.Y., a daughter of the late
Joseph and Jacqueline LaQuay
Howard. Patricia was united in
marriage to Richard Brown until
his passing on October 21, 2018.
She attended the Westernville
United Methodist Church and loved
spending time with family and
friends.
She is survived by three sons and
two daughters-in-law, Matthew
Martin, Georgia, Joseph and
Sherrie Martin, Rome, Todd and
Julie Martin of Rome; four
brothers, Joseph (Jackie) Howard,
Mark (Pat) Howard, Ronald Howard,
Kenny (Sandra) Whitek; a sister,
Deborah (Robert) Lockroft; seven
grandchildren, Aaron, Heather,
Jerry, James, Raven, Haleigh and
Majesta; six great grandchildren,
Grayson, Sterling, Scotty, Sid,
Charlotte and Gunner; along with
several nieces and nephews.
Patricia was predeceased by a
brother, Richard Howard.
Family and Friends are invited to

November 16, 2025, form 2 – 4 P.M.
at Strong-Burns & Sprock
Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road,
Rome. A memorial service will be
held at 4 P.M.
